WHAT IS THE PLATFORM?

PAYMO is a cloud-based system which means you can access it from a web browser on any device or by using the mobile app from IOS or Android.

Paymo is a great resource and educational tool to use for management as it is free software for teachers, as well it works as a great organizational tool for students to help keep track of tasks in the classroom.

PROS/ADVANTAGES
There are many benefits and advantages for PAYMO which benefit students and the teacher. 

1. Efficient Time Tracking 

PAYMO is efficient and hassle-free. Once it is set up, it runs in the background and does not need attention

2. Intuitive Job Management 
PAYMO allows the organization of tasks and the ability to achieve projects once they are completed. Also, it is very easy to edit, change and modify the templates to fit your design which allows projects to be organized and a seamless flow of work.  

3. Automatic Reminders

PAYMO sends reminders to students regarding tasks, deadlines and due dates. 

4. Easy Setup and Customization

PAYMO platform is easy to set up and features a user interface which allows accessibility for all users regardless of level of technical ability. It allows educators, students and other clients the ability to tailor the platform to meet what they need and prefer. In the classroom, the educator can customize to the particular class's needs and preferences.

As with any technological tool, there are some disadvantages or things that just do not measure up to expectations.

1. More Time Tracking than Project Management

PAYMO can seem like it is focusing on time tracking then actually project management, which can be seen in the dashboard area. 

2. Does not detect idle time

Cannot track idle time and therefore time tracking may not be accurate.

There are conflicting reviews of PAYMO and whether it is a user-friendly app. The initial setup seems to be fairly easy but there is online support to help in case you need assistance. 

From a student standpoint, students are required to attend multiple classes which means notetaking, readings, tests etc. However, this technological tool would allow the student to create and organize their school life according to all the deadlines.

This would allow students to have all the important files in one place and also allow collaboration with peers without being in the classroom including incorporating shared progress on assignments. 

One of the best features, especially for that busy student is that you can take your work with you anywhere, and work on your mobile device.

From an educator's viewpoint, it is a great resource to allow live time contact with the students. PAYMO also allows teachers to create assignment deadlines and include due dates; passing them off to the student who should take responsibility and prioritize the list to complete.

There are many videos on other platforms that give directions and assistance.

CONCLUSION

To conclude, Paymo can be a great educational and organizational tool for both the student and the teacher. With all files and resources located in one spot, collaboration in and outside of class will make it convenient for all parties; including the teacher.

As a busy educator with many classes, it will allow the teacher to set all deadlines in advance without a continuous reminder. 

PAYMO has many functions and capabilities and seems easy to use regardless of the individual's technological background. It allows customization options making it attractive for a teacher as they can design it to the individual class they are teaching.
